Poor visibility with fog on the water, with just enough W wind to ripple the surface with the barometer flat. Most of the action on Lac Page should come off the shaded margin through bright spells. The day peaks in the evening. Push the good hours hard and rest through the dead ones.

Lac Page is a Capitale-Nationale water, in Quebec. It stands 243 metres above sea level. The water measures roughly 6 hectares, so nothing here is far from anything else. Saint-Ubalde is the closest place, 15 km off. The big place round here is Sainte-Foy, 62 km distant. Round about: Lac Crochu the better part of 1 km, Lac Clair 1.3 km away, Le Petit Lac the better part of 1.7 km, Lac Vallee 1.8 km away and Lac Fortin the better part of 1.8 km. No border sits close enough to matter.
We hold no survey for this water; read the slope of the shoreline instead. Look for the band where the shallows give up and the bottom falls away. A soft bed grows weed late into autumn, which keeps fish shallow. Across Capitale-Nationale, recorded fish include lake sturgeon, Atlantic sturgeon, longnose sucker, sauger and channel catfish. Several of these carry legal protection or closed seasons; the rulebook comes before the rod. Read Lac Page for ten minutes before the first cast goes out.
The seasonal spread runs -14°C to 18°C. The year runs cold to warm and back, with clear transitions. The lid arrives early and lasts until roughly late April. On average, late April opens the water and late November closes it again. Reckon on open water from spring through to late autumn, with May and June the strongest. On Lac Page the same rules apply, with local timing.
Nothing in our records says who may fish here. Mapping shows an empty shoreline: no ramp, no jetty, no marked entry. For walleye, a jig and minnow near the bottom is the standard; evenings beat middays. Gates get locked out of season on water like this. Where the way in crosses private ground, ask first. The nearest alternative is Lac Crochu, 1 km out. Treat Lac Page as unsettled until someone local tells you otherwise.
