  Jigs tipped with minnows are ideal for crappie fishing in J. Percy Priest Reservoir. The daily creel limit for both white and black crappie here is 30 fish per angler.

  The upstream reaches of the Reservoir provide excellent fishing for white and yellow bass. Minnows as a live bait are good for it.
