Dull, settled light over the water, with a gentle ripple from the SSW and steady pressure. On Lac Quebriac, work the margins and the shelf beyond them first. Numbers are low everywhere; the night is the pick of them. Scale down and fish slowly. Fish follow the bait in autumn, so find one to find the other.

Lac Quebriac is one of the Outaouais listings for Quebec. Mixed forest runs right down to the water. The town to know is Saint-Boniface, 38 km out. It is 149 km to Gatineau, the nearest city. Water in the same corner: Lac Oshet 0.7 km away, 1.5 km out stands Lac Incourt, Lac Lanriec 2.4 km away, 2.7 km out stands Lac Valliere and Lac Tomasine 3.2 km away. The county line is nowhere near, so one local authority covers the water.
No depth figure appears in our records, so the bank has to tell you. Look for the band where the shallows give up and the bottom falls away. A natural lake fishes on cover, and cover here means weed and timber. Survey and observation records for Outaouais include pumpkinseed, yellow perch, smallmouth bass, rainbow smelt and Iowa darter. County records show the wider picture rather than this one place. Lac Quebriac fishes better once you know its edges.
Between January at about -16°C and July at about 18°C, the water has a wide range to work through. The year runs cold to warm and back, with clear transitions. Break-up comes around late April, and the run that follows is short and strong. On average, late April opens the water and late November closes it again. May into June fishes hardest, and September gives a second good stretch before the lid returns. The season on Lac Quebriac follows the weather closely.
The paperwork position is blank for this one. Nothing formal is recorded here: no ramp, no car park, no marked path. For the bass here, soft plastics worked slow along cover and a spinnerbait for searching do most of the work. Bank access can be seasonal on ground like this. Rules for boats are stricter than rules for the bank in many places. Should this one be busy, Lac Oshet is 0.7 km off. What applies at Lac Quebriac may have changed since it was mapped.
