A grey, even sky over the water, with dead-still conditions and pressure sitting still. Lac Agree should fish best around the calm side of the wind today. If you must go, go in the night. One good spot fished well beats five fished quickly. Autumn fish are feeding up and less fussy than in summer.

Look for Lac Agree in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Quebec. The bank is 335 metres above sea level. Val-d'Or sits 60 km from the bank. Gatineau sits 275 km out, and it is the nearest city worth the name. Near neighbours: Lac Baudet within 1.1 km, Lac Pyla sits 1.9 km out, Lac Uzos within 2.2 km, Lac Montech sits 2.6 km out and Lac Sognes within 2.8 km. This one is safely inside the county line.
Depth is unknown to us, and the shoreline is the better guide. Look for the band where the shallows give up and the bottom falls away. The productive water is a rod length or two out, not a hundred. Abitibi-Témiscamingue records list northern pike, yellow perch, walleye, white sucker and brown bullhead among the fish reported. Records at county level tell you what is around, not what is stocked here. On Lac Agree the first feature you find is usually worth a session.
Typical July readings run about 17°C; by January the average is down near -15°C. Winter closes the water for a while, and the reopening is worth catching. Once it clears, about early May, the fishing comes on quickly. Going by climate averages, expect open water from about early May until roughly late November. Just after the ice goes and just before it returns, the fishing lifts. At Lac Agree the season follows that pattern closely.
Nothing in our records says who may fish here. Nothing is mapped in the way of a ramp or car park within a short radius. Pike mean a wire trace, no exceptions; big spoons and jerkbaits do the searching. Take the rules with you rather than trusting memory. Where tickets apply, they are sold in the nearest town rather than on the bank. Lac Baudet at 1.1 km is the sensible second choice. Check the current arrangement for Lac Agree.
