Yauhen has been fishing since he was a kid and never really stopped. Over the years he chased perch and zander on Eastern European rivers, stalked carp on quiet Polish ponds, drilled holes through frozen lakes in winter, and made it to Florida to fish the warm coastal waters. Close to 20 trips a year, across very different fisheries. He targets mostly freshwater: bream, carp, zander, and perch are regulars with both spinning and feeder setups depending on the season. On Fishbox, he writes from personal experience: spots he's actually fished, rigs he's tested, and conditions he's sat through. By day he works in marketing, which mostly just means his fishing trip notes are unusually well-organized.
