Flat light and a covered sky today, with just enough SSW wind to ripple the surface with a settled glass. Whatever swims in Lac Talle should be near points where shallow meets deep. A stay-home graph, with the middle of the day as the one excuse to go. Downsize everything and pick the calmest water.

Within Outaouais, Quebec, you have Lac Talle. Beyond the shoreline you have rolling bush. A pocket of water where every cast reaches cover. It is one of the smaller waters we list in Outaouais. The closest town, Saint-Boniface, is 87 km distant. Beyond it, Maniwaki at 98 km and Ferme-Neuve at 106 km. Near neighbours include: Lac Uvule after 0.4 km, Lac Archaud (0.5 km), Lac Poulter after 1.5 km, Lac Bergom (2 km) and Lac Ambialet after 2.6 km. This one is safely inside the county line.
Nothing we hold settles how deep this runs. The shallow end warms first and pulls fish in ahead of the rest. A soft bed grows weed late into autumn, which keeps fish shallow. Species logged across Outaouais include pumpkinseed, yellow perch and smallmouth bass. County data is a starting point rather than a guarantee. At Lac Talle the first feature you find is worth twenty minutes.
The warm month here averages 17°C; the cold one sits at -17°C. The year splits cleanly: hard water, then open water. Ice fishing carries the winter, and the water opens about early May. On average, early May opens the water and late November closes it again. June through September is the settled part of the year, with the shoulders busier for fish. Lac Talle runs to that rhythm year in and year out.
No access rule appears in what we hold. There is camping recorded roughly 1.3 km off. For the bass here, soft plastics worked slow along cover and a spinnerbait for searching do most of the work. A landowner's word beats anything printed elsewhere. Close seasons apply to some species and not others. Lac Uvule, 0.4 km away, makes the obvious fallback. For Lac Talle, the notice at the access point is the final word.
