Showers crossing the water today, with a helpful ripple pushed from the S and steady pressure. The fish at Lac Silo are likely to sit near the shaded margin through bright spells. A stay-home graph, with the evening as the one excuse to go. Scale down and fish slowly. Cooler water spreads fish back across the shallows.

Lac Silo is a Côte-Nord water, Quebec side. Elevation runs to 400 metres. At roughly 2 hectares, the whole thing is within casting reach of a single walk. Our Côte-Nord list holds plenty of bigger water. Nearest town is Forestville, 118 km off. It is 131 km to Saguenay, the nearest city. This one is safely inside the county line.
We hold no survey for this water; read the slope of the shoreline instead. Read the surface for the wind lane, then fish the edge of it. The productive water is a rod length or two out, not a hundred. Species logged across Côte-Nord include logperch. These are county-wide records, so not all of them will be in this water. On Lac Silo the quiet end is the one worth the extra effort.
Between January at about -19°C and July at about 16°C, the water has a wide range to work through. Winter owns most of the year at this latitude. Look for the thaw near mid May; the fishing lifts straight after. Climate averages put the opening at about mid May and the closing near mid November. September and October fish steadily right up to the freeze. Lac Silo fishes to that pattern most years.
Access is not recorded for this water. There is no mapped parking or launch close by, which usually means walking in. For the perch, a small jig tipped with worm, dropped along the edges, is hard to beat. Rules differ from one water to the next round here. Some stretches are reserved and marked as such on the ground. Lac Taco, 0.6 km away, makes the obvious fallback. Nothing here settles the position at Lac Silo for certain.
