A clear night sky over the water, with mild air moving in from the WNW and no real change in pressure. Start the search at Lac Lemire along inflow corners and shaded margins. The numbers single out the middle of the day. Settle in and let the day develop. The season of moving fish: stay mobile and watch for bait.

Lac Lemire is a Capitale-Nationale water, Quebec side. The country here is lake country bush. A splashy cast here empties the swim; a quiet one owns it. It is one of the smaller waters we list in Capitale-Nationale. Saint-Raymond is the closest place, 18 km off. For a city, Sainte-Foy is 60 km off. The nearest boundary is well away, so one set of rules covers the water.
There is no published depth for this one, so start shallow and work out. Where the bottom changes texture, fish gather; find that line. On a natural lake the weed line and the shelf beyond it do the work. Reported across Capitale-Nationale: lake sturgeon, Atlantic sturgeon, longnose sucker and sauger. Some of the species recorded here are protected or tightly regulated, so check what may be targeted before you fish. Lac Lemire gives up more to patience than to distance.
Average temperature peaks around 18°C in July and bottoms out near -14°C in January. Cold winters and warm summers give a wide working range. Ice is part of the season here, ending near late April. Expect the water usable from around late April until roughly late November. The shoulder weeks of the open season are the productive ones. Keep it in mind when planning a trip to Lac Lemire.
Nothing we hold confirms whether access is permitted. No launch point is recorded nearby, so this is a bank water unless you carry a boat in. Walleye come to jigs worked slow near bottom, and to trolled crankbaits along the drops at dusk. Take the rules with you rather than trusting memory. Some ground is open by custom rather than by right, so tread carefully. Should this one be busy, Lac Poudrier is 0.4 km off. None of that is settled for Lac Lemire in what we hold.
