Heavy weather possible later today, with just enough SSW wind to ripple the surface with the barometer flat. Whatever swims in Lac Godin should be near bays that hold the day's warmth. Little to get excited about, though the middle of the day holds a sliver of promise. Downsize everything and pick the calmest water.

Night
Lac Godin is listed under Outaouais, Quebec. It sits at 414 metres above sea level. At 7 hectares it is the sort of place you fish for an evening rather than a day. Saint-Boniface is the closest place, 45 km off. It is 138 km to Gatineau, the nearest city. Other water within reach: Lac McNally roughly 1.9 km, Lac Fray the better part of 2.2 km, Lac Evan roughly 2.4 km, Lac Noel the better part of 2.8 km and Lac Fee roughly 3.4 km. No boundary runs near, so the local rules hold throughout.
No published figure covers depth, so learn it as you fish. On a natural lake the weed line and the shelf beyond it do the work. Where the bottom changes texture, fish gather; find that line. Survey and observation records for Outaouais include pumpkinseed, yellow perch and smallmouth bass. The county list is broader than any single water. Lac Godin gives up its fish to patience rather than distance.
Expect July to average close to 18°C, with January the cold end at about -15°C. Hard water is a season in its own right here. Break-up comes around late April, and the run that follows is short and strong. The lid tends to go about late April and return around late November. Early summer and early autumn carry the open-water season. Expect Lac Godin to follow that timing.
Our records carry no access rule either way. Mapping is blank for access, so scout the approach before committing the car. Largemouth respond to soft plastics tight to cover; go weedless where the growth is heavy. Some banks are open only from a marked point. Night access is frequently treated as a separate matter. Should this one be busy, Lac McNally is 1.9 km off. Treat Lac Godin as unsettled until someone local tells you otherwise.
