Lac Deziel, Quebec: Fishing Spots and Seasons

  Out in Saguenay/Lac-Saint-Jean, Quebec, sits Lac Deziel. The water sits 639 metres up. At about 11 hectares, a day is enough to walk the shoreline properly. • Where to Fish on Lac Deziel

  No figure exists for depth, so let the water show you. Read the surface for the wind lane, then fish the edge of it. Look for the band where the shallows give up and the bottom falls away. County-wide records name northern pike, Atlantic salmon and lake whitefish. At least one recorded species is protected in parts of its range; read the local rules before targeting anything. On Lac Deziel that means starting tight and working out.
