Patchy cloud drifting through today, with a faint SSW drift and pressure going nowhere. On Lac de l'Aigle, work the calm side of the wind first. A stay-home graph, with the night as the one excuse to go. Save the long walk for a better forecast. Shortening days concentrate the feeding into fewer hours.

Lac de l'Aigle is an Outaouais water, Quebec side. What surrounds it is mixed forest. Around 22 hectares of surface means several distinct areas to work. By elevation it sits in the lower part of our Quebec listings. Saint-Raphaël is the closest town at 16 km. The big place round here is Gatineau, 90 km distant. The nearest boundary is well away, so one set of rules covers the water.
Our records carry no depth, so judge it from the bank. Read the surface for the wind lane, then fish the edge of it. On a natural lake the weed line and the shelf beyond it do the work. Public occurrence data for Outaouais names pumpkinseed, yellow perch, smallmouth bass, rainbow smelt and Iowa darter. County records show what lives in the area; the local agency holds the water-by-water list. Read Lac de l'Aigle before you fish it and the day goes better.
On the long-term average, July reads 19°C and January reads -14°C. Spring and autumn carry the fishing; summer and winter test it. Firm cover through the cold months, then open water from late April. Expect the water usable from around late April until roughly late November. The open run goes from the thaw to the freeze, and April through October covers most of it. Time your trip to Lac de l'Aigle by conditions rather than dates.
Ownership and access are not documented in what we hold. Mapping shows no built access close by; expect to walk in from wherever you can leave the car. Bass water: a Texas-rigged worm near cover, a spinnerbait when you need to cover ground. Take the rules with you rather than trusting memory. Signs go up and come down, so check on the day. Lac Michel sits 0.7 km off and takes the overflow. For Lac de l'Aigle, the notice at the access point is the final word.
