Lac Carbert in Centre-du-Québec: How and When to Fish It

• Overview

  The Centre-du-Québec end of Quebec holds Lac Carbert. This is northern bush country. The water covers around 7.99 sq km, which puts most of it out of reach from the bank. With about 39 km of shoreline, local advice saves a lot of walking. It is one of the larger waters we list anywhere in Quebec. The closest town, Salluit, is 161 km distant. Puvirnituq follows at 164 km, then Inukjuak at 324 km. It lies deep inside the county rather than near an edge.

• Where to Fish on Lac Carbert
