Soft grey light all day today, with dead-still conditions and pressure leaking away. Put the first casts for White catfish on reed fringes and open pockets at Spot 6. A broad window opens from night into morning. Commit to the pattern once the first fish shows. Fish follow the bait in autumn, so find one to find the other.
