Low, flat cloud sitting over the water, with a kind S breeze on the water and pressure sitting still. Expect most activity at Lac Tribot around the first drop-off and weed lines. If you pick one session, make it the night. Work the productive water thoroughly. Cooler water spreads fish back across the shallows.

This water sits in Laurentides, Quebec. Height above sea level is 319 metres. This is a pocket water of some 9 hectares, and every part of it is reachable from the bank. There is roughly 1.6 km of shoreline here, which is a short walk end to end. Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel lies 26 km from the water. The big place round here is Orléans, 74 km distant. The county line is nowhere near, so one local authority covers the water.
There is no published depth for this one, so start shallow and work out. The productive water is a rod length or two out, not a hundred. Look for the band where the shallows give up and the bottom falls away. Public occurrence data for Laurentides names pumpkinseed, smallmouth bass, yellow perch and brook trout. Species recorded across the county may be limited to a few waters. Fish Lac Tribot to its features, not to its size.
The warm month here averages 18°C; the cold one sits at -14°C. Fishing here follows the temperature more than the calendar. The lid usually sets by midwinter and gives way around late April. Going by climate averages, expect open water from about late April until roughly late November. Just after the ice goes and just before it returns, the fishing lifts. That is the shape of the year on Lac Tribot.
Ownership and access are not documented in what we hold. This is a natural basin, not a dammed one. No car park, ramp or path is recorded within easy reach of the shore. Bass water: a Texas-rigged worm near cover, a spinnerbait when you need to cover ground. Look for a notice board at the entrance. Some water is controlled locally without a sign saying so. Lac Ozan at 0.5 km is the sensible second choice. For Lac Tribot, the notice at the access point is the final word.
