Passing showers with dry spells between, with a whisper of wind from the S and steady pressure. Fish at Lac Titan should hold close to the weed line and any gaps in it. A hard day on paper; the evening edges the rest. Lower the pace and stay patient. The autumn feed-up is on; baitfish areas are the key.

In Quebec, Lac Titan falls inside Côte-Nord. This is boreal forest country. About 2 hectares of surface, which puts the far bank inside easy sight. It is one of the smaller waters we list in Côte-Nord. Saint-Honoré sits 105 km from here and is the nearest stop. Then Saint-Fulgence, 107 km, and Forestville, 111 km. If this one is busy: Lac Calif 1.1 km off, 1.2 km out stands Lac Agena, Lac Fick 1.7 km off, 2 km out stands Lac Lucie and Lac Clemence 2.4 km off. There is no boundary nearby to worry about.
Depth is not on record here, which means reading the ground instead. Where the bottom changes texture, fish gather; find that line. The productive water is a rod length or two out, not a hundred. Across Côte-Nord, recorded fish include logperch. Records at county level tell you what is around, not what is stocked here. Lac Titan gives up its fish to patience rather than distance.
Expect July near 15°C and January near -19°C on the long-run figures. Open water arrives late and leaves early, which concentrates the fishing. Winter locks it down, and mid May brings it back. Averages suggest open water from about mid May through to roughly early November. Right after break-up, and again as the nights sharpen, is when to go. Plan any trip to Lac Titan around it.
Our records carry no access rule either way. Access is unmapped, which usually means a farm track and a walk. For the perch, a small jig tipped with worm, dropped along the edges, is hard to beat. Gates get locked out of season on water like this. Keep proof of licence with you rather than in the car. Should this one be busy, Lac Calif is 1.1 km off. Treat Lac Titan as unsettled until someone local tells you otherwise.
