Lac Tache, Quebec: Fishing Spots and Seasons

  The Laurentides end of Quebec holds Lac Tache. It sits at 434 metres above sea level. Start from Ferme-Neuve, 49 km down the road. Saint-Louis-de-Terrebonne is the closest city, 154 km away. Neighbouring water: Lac Maurice at 1.2 km, Lac Offset 2 km off, Etang Roger at 2.1 km, Lac Gabriel 2.4 km off and Lac Lee at 2.5 km. The nearest boundary is a fair way off.

• Where to Fish on Lac Tache

Weed, then depth: that is the order to fish a water of this kind. Reported across Laurentides: pumpkinseed, smallmouth bass, yellow perch and brook trout. Firm cover through the cold months, then open water from early May. Ice clears near early May and comes back about mid November in a typical year.
