Overcast skies today, with a light chop building from the SSW and pressure going nowhere. Most of the action on Lac No Man should come off reed fringes and open pockets. The morning is where the day comes good. Ride the conditions while they last. The autumn feed-up is on; baitfish areas are the key.

Lac No Man is one of the Laurentides waters in Quebec. The sea is 29 km distant. Surface area is around 13 hectares, which gives you real water without needing a boat. With about 2.1 km of edge, you can try several depths in one session. The nearest place of any size is Morin-Heights, 14 km away. It is 49 km to Saint-Louis-de-Terrebonne, the nearest city. The nearest edge is a long way off, so local rules apply throughout.
There is no recorded depth, so work from what you can see. The productive water is a rod length or two out, not a hundred. Read the surface for the wind lane, then fish the edge of it. Species logged across Laurentides include pumpkinseed, smallmouth bass and yellow perch. Read it as a county summary, not a water-by-water list. Anyone new to Lac No Man should walk it once before setting up.
The year swings from about -13°C in January to roughly 19°C in July. Spring and autumn carry the fishing; summer and winter test it. The lid arrives early and lasts until roughly late April. The season between ice runs from about late April to early December. Reckon on open water from spring through to late autumn, with May and June the strongest. The season on Lac No Man rarely departs from it.
Nothing on record says whether the bank is open or closed. It formed naturally, so levels move with rainfall rather than with a gate. Nothing is listed nearby for parking or launching a boat. A small crankbait along the drop and a worm in the thick stuff cover the bass. Parking space is the usual limit rather than the bank itself. Check whether bait restrictions apply before you buy any. Should this one be busy, Petit lac Rainbow is 2.1 km off. Nothing on Lac No Man should be assumed from this page alone.
