Heavy overcast holding through the day, with stillness over the whole water with the barometer flat. Expect most activity at Lac Magno around the shallows early and the drop later. If you must go, go in the middle of the day. Keep baits small and presentations quiet. Autumn rewards covering water while the fish roam.

Lac Magno is listed under Outaouais, Quebec. The water sits 409 metres up. Small at around 5 hectares: two anglers spread out cover most of it. For supplies, Saint-Boniface is 75 km out. Beyond it, Maniwaki at 85 km and Saint-Raphaël at 94 km. Close by you also have: Lac Havrincourt about 0.7 km, Lac Gaspard roughly 1 km, Lac Rochas about 1.2 km, Lac Pamfou roughly 1.5 km and Lac Wishbone about 1.6 km. This one is safely inside the county line.
We hold no depth figure for this one. Where the bottom changes texture, fish gather; find that line. Bays and points beat straight shoreline every time on water like this. Records held for Outaouais cover pumpkinseed, yellow perch and smallmouth bass. Records at county level tell you what is around, not what is stocked here. At Lac Magno light and wind decide more than tackle does.
Between January at about -17°C and July at about 17°C, the water has a wide range to work through. Fishing here follows the temperature more than the calendar. Look for the thaw near early May; the fishing lifts straight after. Expect the water usable from around early May until roughly late November. The open run goes from the thaw to the freeze, and April through October covers most of it. Plan any trip to Lac Magno around it.
Public sources are silent on who controls the bank. Nothing built is recorded close to the bank here. Largemouth respond to soft plastics tight to cover; go weedless where the growth is heavy. Gates get locked out of season on water like this. Where tickets apply, they are sold in the nearest town rather than on the bank. Lac Havrincourt, 0.7 km away, makes the obvious fallback. Treat access at Lac Magno as something to verify.
