Cloud from horizon to horizon today, with light air out of the SSE and no real change in pressure. Start the search at Lac Gerard-Audet along sheltered bays and points. Everything points to the night. Take the steady approach over the searching one. Autumn fish are feeding up and less fussy than in summer.

Beyond it, Albanel at 82 km and Dolbeau-Mistassini at 96 km. Rules here are straightforward: one set of provincial rules.
There is no recorded depth, so work from what you can see. Weed, then depth: that is the order to fish a water of this kind. Bays and points beat straight shoreline every time on water like this. It sets the rhythm of the year at Lac Gerard-Audet.
No access rule appears in what we hold. It formed naturally, so levels move with rainfall rather than with a gate. No car park, ramp or path is recorded within easy reach of the shore. For the pike, wire up and throw larger lures along the weed edges. Local rules can differ across the county line, so check where you stand. Barbless rules turn up on managed water more often than not. For a change of water, Lac Birau is 1.2 km distant. Nothing on Lac Gerard-Audet should be assumed from this page alone.
