Passing showers with dry spells between, with a helpful ripple pushed from the WSW and pressure going nowhere. Activity on Lac Gamma should centre on the seam between weed and open water. Little to get excited about, though the middle of the day holds a sliver of promise. Downsize everything and pick the calmest water.

No figure exists for depth, so let the water show you. Where the bottom changes texture, fish gather; find that line. The shallow end warms first and pulls fish in ahead of the rest. Species logged across Côte-Nord include logperch. County data is a starting point rather than a guarantee. On Lac Gamma a short move beats a long cast.
In an average year July sits at 16°C and January at -18°C. Cold dominates the year and the fishing works around it. Ice fishing carries the winter, and the water opens about early May. On the long-run averages the water opens up around early May and starts locking again about mid November. Fishing peaks soon after break-up and again before the cold returns. The season on Lac Gamma rarely departs from it.
The rules here are undocumented as far as public sources go. The map shows no ramp or car park nearby, so this is a walk-in water. For the perch, a small jig tipped with worm, dropped along the edges, is hard to beat. A phone call first saves an afternoon. Some stretches are reserved and marked as such on the ground. For a change of water, Lac Alpha is 0.8 km distant. Treat access at Lac Gamma as something to verify.
