Cloud from horizon to horizon today, with light air out of the SSW with the barometer flat. Whatever swims in Lac de la Raquette should be near structure within a cast of the bank. Save your energy for the morning. Stay mobile and follow the activity. Fish follow the bait in autumn, so find one to find the other.

Night
Lac de la Raquette falls in Laurentides, part of Quebec. Elevation runs to 358 metres. Roughly 10 hectares: a morning covers one end, an afternoon the other. With about 1.9 km of edge, you can try several depths in one session. Head to Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, 15 km away, for anything you forgot. Beyond it, Saint-Adolphe-d'Howard at 16 km and Mont-Tremblant at 18 km. No border sits close enough to matter.
Nothing we hold settles how deep this runs. The productive water is a rod length or two out, not a hundred. A natural lake fishes on cover, and cover here means weed and timber. Across Laurentides, recorded fish include pumpkinseed, smallmouth bass, yellow perch, brook trout and rock bass. The county list is broader than any single water. Fish Lac de la Raquette to its features, not to its size.
Averages move between -14°C in January and 18°C in July. Fishing here follows the temperature more than the calendar. Break-up comes around late April, and the run that follows is short and strong. Climate averages put the opening at about late April and the closing near late November. The open run goes from the thaw to the freeze, and April through October covers most of it. Lac de la Raquette fishes to that pattern most years.
Nothing in our records says who may fish here. Records list it as a natural water body rather than an impoundment. No car park, ramp or path is recorded within easy reach of the shore. Bass water: a Texas-rigged worm near cover, a spinnerbait when you need to cover ground. Read any posted signs at the access point rather than assuming. Where parking is tight, arriving early solves most problems. Lac a Labelle, 1.1 km away, makes the obvious fallback. Rules at Lac de la Raquette are worth checking on the day.
