A closed sky with even light today, with a helpful ripple pushed from the SSW with the glass holding level. Whatever swims in Lac Aggie should be near points where shallow meets deep. A hard day on paper; the night edges the rest. Scale down and fish slowly. Cooler water spreads fish back across the shallows.

Within Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Quebec, you have Lac Aggie. The surface lies 440 metres up. At about 10 hectares, a day is enough to walk the shoreline properly. The edge runs 1.4 km or so, easy to work in an afternoon. Leblanc is the closest place, 114 km off. The nearest city of size is Gatineau, 275 km away. No boundary runs near, so the local rules hold throughout.
Nothing we hold settles how deep this runs. Read the surface for the wind lane, then fish the edge of it. A natural lake fishes on cover, and cover here means weed and timber. Reported across Abitibi-Témiscamingue: northern pike, yellow perch, walleye and white sucker. County data is a starting point rather than a guarantee. On Lac Aggie the quiet end is the one worth the extra effort.
Expect July to average close to 16°C, with January the cold end at about -18°C. Winter runs most of the calendar, and everything worth doing happens in the gap. Break-up comes around early May, and the run that follows is short and strong. The open-water window runs from around early May to about mid November in an average year. Early summer and early autumn carry the open-water season. The season on Lac Aggie rarely departs from it.
Nothing on record says whether the bank is open or closed. Records list it as a natural water body rather than an impoundment. Mapping shows no built access close by; expect to walk in from wherever you can leave the car. For the pike, wire up and throw larger lures along the weed edges. Parking is often the real limit rather than the bank itself. Check whether bait restrictions apply before you buy any. Lac Ruth, 1.1 km away, makes the obvious fallback. Where Lac Aggie is concerned, a local answer beats a written one.
