Clear Lake near El Lago: Fishing Spots, Seasons and Access

  The basin holds salt water, and for most of the year it is no place to plan a fishing trip. Being tidal, the water moves twice a day, and the fishing moves with it. Read the surface for the wind lane, then fish the edge of it. On Clear Lake that means starting tight and working out.
