A crisp, open sky after dark, with the water lying quiet and no real change in pressure. Activity on Argo Riffle should centre on the weed line and any gaps in it. A broad window opens from night into morning. Commit to the pattern once the first fish shows. Autumn rewards covering water while the fish roam.
