Line Pond is set in Franklin County, New York. The water sits 1,683 feet up. Small at around 5 acres: two anglers spread out cover most of it. On size it sits at the modest end of our Franklin County list. For supplies, Saranac Lake is 15 miles out. Lake Placid lies 19 miles off, Dannemora another 21 miles. Depth went unrecorded, which puts the reading back on you. Weed, then depth: that is the order to fish a water of this kind. A soft bed grows weed late into autumn, which keeps fish shallow. Public occurrence data for Franklin County names brook trout, white sucker, brown trout and yellow perch. Take it as the county picture rather than a promise for this water.
