A rainy spell sitting over the area, with a proper ripple driven from the SE with a softening glass. The fish at Lake Albert are likely to sit near reed fringes and open pockets. The numbers single out the night. Cover water early, then settle where the signs are. Falling temperatures are switching fish back on.

Lake Albert is a Saint Louis County water, in Minnesota. The bank is 1,355 feet above sea level. It measures about 52 acres, which is a comfortable size for bank fishing. The whole outline is near 1.1 miles, and most of it is walkable. The closest town, Eveleth, is 19 miles away. Minneapolis sits 160 miles out, and it is the nearest city worth the name. Rules here are straightforward: one county, one set of rules.
No chart reached our records; the first cast is your sounding. A natural lake fishes on cover, and cover here means weed and timber. Where the bottom changes texture, fish gather; find that line. Fish documented in Saint Louis County include yellow perch, northern pike, white sucker, rainbow trout and walleye. It is the county picture; the agency list is water-specific. Treat Lake Albert as a water to read rather than to cover.
Expect July near 65°F and January near 4°F on the long-run figures. The season turns properly here, and fish follow it closely. Firm cover through the cold months, then open water from late April. The open-water window runs from around late April to about late November in an average year. The strongest runs come at either end of the open season. Keep it in mind when planning a trip to Lake Albert.
The access position is unclear from public sources. No dam controls it, and the level follows the season. No launch point is recorded nearby, so this is a bank water unless you carry a boat in. For the bass here, soft plastics worked slow along cover and a spinnerbait for searching do most of the work. Parking space is the usual limit rather than the bank itself. Check whether bait restrictions apply before you buy any. Failing this one, try Berg Lake, 0.7 miles away. None of that is settled for Lake Albert in what we hold.
