Stars out and no cloud tonight, with an easy breeze from the ENE with the glass holding level. Expect most activity at Lake Peachtree around reed fringes and open pockets. Expect the better fishing from the day. Give the likely spots time before moving. Cooling water has fish active and on the move.

Night
Lake Peachtree falls in Fayette County, part of Georgia. Country round the bank runs to dry hill. Roughly 222 acres: a morning covers one end, an afternoon the other. At about 3.5 miles of edge, most people work one arm at a time. It is the biggest water on our Fayette County list. Peachtree City at 1.2 miles is the nearest place to stop. The nearest city of size is South Fulton, 15 miles away. The county line runs close by, so rules can change within a short drive.
Depth remains unrecorded, so treat the first session as a survey. Rip-rap along the wall holds fish that the open bank never does. The old creek line under the surface is the feature worth finding. Nearby survey and observation records mention blackbanded darter, bluegill and chain pickerel. Records come from public data, not from a stocking programme. Lake Peachtree responds to conditions more than to tactics.
The year swings from about 43°F in January to roughly 79°F in July. Heat sets the pattern from late spring onward. The cooler months are the comfortable ones to be out. The cooler months are the comfortable ones to fish here. Anyone fishing Lake Peachtree regularly works to that calendar.
No access rule appears in what we hold. The slipway at Battery Way Boat Ramp is half a mile away. A car park sits roughly half a mile away. Mapping shows a jetty some half a mile off. Mapping shows a picnic spot within half a mile. Facilities include toilets around half a mile from here. Bank access can be seasonal on ground like this. Check whether bait restrictions apply before you buy any. Shoal Creek at 2 miles is the sensible second choice. None of that is settled for Lake Peachtree in what we hold.
