Stars out and no cloud tonight, with a busy NE wind on the open water with a settled glass. On Lake Adelaide, work shallow cover and weed edges first. Plan around the stretch from night into morning. Keep moving until you find them. Autumn rewards covering water while the fish roam.

Night
Lake Adelaide lies in Seminole County, Florida. This is scrub and brush country. At 23 acres it is the sort of place you fish for an evening rather than a day. The nearest place of any size is Altamonte Springs, 0.4 miles away. Beyond it, Fern Park at 1.5 miles and Casselberry at 2.4 miles. Not far off: Lake Florida at 0.6 miles, Lake Maltbie (0.6 miles), Lake Marion at 0.9 miles, Lake Mobile (0.9 miles) and Lake Orienta at 1 mile. A border sits close enough to be relevant to the paperwork.
Depth here is unknown, so count the lead down before committing. Read the surface for the wind lane, then fish the edge of it. The productive water is a rod length or two out, not a hundred. Biodiversity records within roughly six miles include bluegill, largemouth bass and redbreast sunfish. Check the state or provincial list before planning around one species. The near bank of Lake Adelaide is often the one people ignore.
Expect July near 82°F and January near 60°F on the long-run figures. The whole calendar is open, with dawn and dusk the productive hours in summer. Spring and autumn carry the fishing; summer squeezes it into the edges of the day. Autumn steadies things again once the heat lets go. Lake Adelaide fishes to that pattern most years.
Our records carry no access rule either way. There is recorded parking some half a mile off. Bass water: a Texas-rigged worm near cover, a spinnerbait when you need to cover ground. Some banks are open only from a marked point. Keep proof of licence with you rather than in the car. Lake Florida at 0.6 miles is the sensible second choice. Confirm before you fish Lake Adelaide.
