A wide-open sky and strong sun today, with calm air over the water and pressure leaking away. Whatever swims in Bluff Lake should be near windblown banks where food collects. Plan around the stretch from the day. Keep moving until you find them. Autumn fish are feeding up and less fussy than in summer.

Read the surface for the wind lane, then fish the edge of it. Fish documented in Adams County include common carp, white sucker and bluegill. County records show the wider picture rather than this one place. Fish Bluff Lake where the bottom changes rather than where it looks deep.
