Rain moving through today, with a light chop building from the SSE and no real change in pressure. The fish at Lac Tina are likely to sit near the calm side of the wind. A grinding day likely, with the evening worth the effort if any is. Scale down and fish slowly. Shortening days concentrate the feeding into fewer hours.

Lac Tina is a Côte-Nord water, in Quebec. The water sits 559 metres up. Small at around 8 hectares: two anglers spread out cover most of it. By elevation it is in the upper part of our Quebec listings. The closest town, Saint-Honoré, is 122 km distant. The nearest city of size is Saguenay, 133 km away. The nearest edge is a long way off, so local rules apply throughout.
Depth is unknown to us, and the shoreline is the better guide. Where the bottom changes texture, fish gather; find that line. Still water like this holds fish on the edges rather than out in the open. County-wide records name logperch. These are county-wide records, so not all of them will be in this water. Treat Lac Tina as a water to read rather than to cover.
Expect July near 15°C and January near -19°C on the long-run figures. Open water is the exception rather than the rule here. Break-up comes around mid May, and the run that follows is short and strong. In an average year the thaw lands around mid May and the freeze near early November. The strong weeks are the first after break-up and the last before the freeze. On Lac Tina that shapes the whole year.
We hold no note on access for this one. No made access appears within a short radius, so plan to park on a verge and walk. For the perch, a small jig tipped with worm, dropped along the edges, is hard to beat. Ask in the nearest town if you are unsure. Check whether bait restrictions apply before you buy any. If the gate is shut, Lac Bis at 0.3 km is the nearest alternative. For Lac Tina in particular, ask before you travel.
