Overcast skies today, with hardly a ripple anywhere with a settled glass. Whatever swims in Lac Ti-Ri should be near inflow corners and shaded margins. The forecast is against you; the night is the least bad option. One good spot fished well beats five fished quickly. Cooling water has fish active and on the move.

Lac Ti-Ri is one of the Abitibi-Témiscamingue waters in Quebec. Height above sea level is 340 metres. With some 27 hectares of water, there is room for a boat but no need of one. Shoreline comes to about 2.1 km, small enough to learn in a day. Nearest place of any size is Mattawa, 36 km away. Beyond it, Notre-Dame-du-Lac at 45 km and Témiscaming at 47 km. The nearest boundary is a fair way off.
No chart reached our records; the first cast is your sounding. Weed, then depth: that is the order to fish a water of this kind. Look for the band where the shallows give up and the bottom falls away. Public occurrence data for Abitibi-Témiscamingue names northern pike, yellow perch, walleye and white sucker. Read it as a county summary, not a water-by-water list. On Lac Ti-Ri the first feature you find is usually worth a session.
Averages here run 18°C at the top of summer and -14°C at the bottom of winter. Spring and autumn carry the fishing; summer and winter test it. The lid arrives early and lasts until roughly late April. The season between ice runs from about late April to late November. The strong weeks are the first after break-up and the last before the freeze. At Lac Ti-Ri the season follows that pattern closely.
Our records carry no access rule either way. It formed naturally, so levels move with rainfall rather than with a gate. No built facilities appear in mapping around this water. For the pike, wire up and throw larger lures along the weed edges. Where access is informal, keep it that way by behaving. Check whether bait restrictions apply before you buy any. Lac de l'Espoir sits 1.5 km off and takes the overflow. Nothing here settles the position at Lac Ti-Ri for certain.
