No direct sun expected today, with a helpful ripple pushed from the S with the glass holding level. Activity on Lac Robinson should centre on inflow corners and shaded margins. Make the night the heart of the trip. Make the first hour count and build on it. Cooling water has fish active and on the move.

Lac Robinson is an Outaouais water, in Quebec. The bank gives way to mixed forest. The water measures roughly 3 hectares, so nothing here is far from anything else. Most waters listed here for Outaouais are larger. Head to Wakefield, 12 km away, for anything you forgot. The big place round here is Gatineau, 35 km distant. The nearest edge is a long way off, so local rules apply throughout.
Depth is unknown to us, and the shoreline is the better guide. A natural lake fishes on cover, and cover here means weed and timber. A soft bed grows weed late into autumn, which keeps fish shallow. Survey and observation records for Outaouais include pumpkinseed, yellow perch, smallmouth bass and rainbow smelt. It is the county picture; the agency list is water-specific. The near bank of Lac Robinson is often the one people ignore.
Temperature averages peak at 20°C in July and bottom out at -13°C in January. A full turn of seasons, with the strongest sport on either side of summer. Once it clears, about late April, the fishing comes on quickly. The open-water window runs from around late April to about early December in an average year. September and October fish steadily right up to the freeze. Expect Lac Robinson to follow that timing.
Who may fish here is not settled in anything we hold. No launch point is recorded nearby, so this is a bank water unless you carry a boat in. A small crankbait along the drop and a worm in the thick stuff cover the bass. Check locally before you travel, because a wasted drive is a long one. Where the way in crosses private ground, ask first. Should this one be busy, Lac Lattimer is 0.6 km off. None of that is settled for Lac Robinson in what we hold.
