Soft grey light all day today, with light air out of the S and steady pressure. Expect most activity at Lac Rix around the shaded margin through bright spells. The strongest window is the night. Push the good hours hard and rest through the dead ones. Shortening days concentrate the feeding into fewer hours.

Quebec holds Lac Rix, in Laurentides. This is pine and birch ground. This is a tiny water, and one quiet approach covers all of it. Our Laurentides list holds plenty of bigger water. Some 33 km away sits La Minerve, the nearest settlement. Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel follows at 34 km, then Mont-Laurier at 34 km. The nearest edge is a long way off, so local rules apply throughout.
Without a survey to go on, judge depth from how the bank falls away. The productive water is a rod length or two out, not a hundred. Where the bottom changes texture, fish gather; find that line. Laurentides records list pumpkinseed, smallmouth bass, yellow perch and brook trout among the fish reported. Read it as a county summary, not a water-by-water list. The shape of Lac Rix rewards a slow walk along one bank.
Average temperature peaks around 18°C in July and bottoms out near -14°C in January. The season turns properly here, and fish follow it closely. Ice is part of the season here, ending near late April. Averages suggest open water from about late April through to roughly late November. Late spring and early autumn carry the year between them. Lac Rix fishes to that pattern most years.
Nothing in our records says who may fish here. There is no recorded infrastructure here; expect to find your own way in. Largemouth respond to soft plastics tight to cover; go weedless where the growth is heavy. Take the rules with you rather than trusting memory. Keep proof of licence with you rather than in the car. Lac Isy, 1 km away, makes the obvious fallback. Treat Lac Rix as unsettled until someone local tells you otherwise.
