Unstable air with storms likely today, with mild air moving in from the SW with a settled glass. The water to cover at Lac Reine is the margins and the shelf beyond them. The forecast is against you; the night is the least bad option. One good spot fished well beats five fished quickly. Cooling water has fish active and on the move.

Lac Reine stands in Outaouais, Quebec. The water sits 250 metres up. It runs to roughly 12 hectares — big enough to hold fish away from the bank, small enough to learn. Around 1.5 km of margin, front to back. Deep River is the closest place, 29 km off. Gatineau is the closest city, 182 km away. Also within reach: Lac Chamisso after 0.9 km, Lac Moore 1.4 km, Lac Carey after 1.7 km, Lac Brackett 2 km and Lac Bennett after 2.3 km. It sits well inside its county, with no border complications.
No figure exists for depth, so let the water show you. This is a lake, so the margins and the first drop matter most. Read the surface for the wind lane, then fish the edge of it. Outaouais records list pumpkinseed, yellow perch, smallmouth bass and rainbow smelt among the fish reported. County data is a starting point rather than a guarantee. Lac Reine fishes better once you know its edges.
Average temperature peaks around 18°C in July and bottoms out near -14°C in January. The year runs cold to warm and back, with clear transitions. Winter fishing happens on the ice here, with open water back around late April. On the long-run averages the water opens up around late April and starts locking again about late November. Look to early summer and the first cool weeks of autumn. Keep it in mind when planning a trip to Lac Reine.
Our records carry no access rule either way. Records list it as a natural water body rather than an impoundment. Formal access is not mapped, so the last stretch is likely on foot. A small crankbait along the drop and a worm in the thick stuff cover the bass. Parking space is the usual limit rather than the bank itself. Barbless rules turn up on managed water more often than not. The nearest alternative is Lac Chamisso, 0.9 km out. None of that is settled for Lac Reine in what we hold.
