A closed sky with even light today, with a faint S drift and pressure going nowhere. Whatever swims in Lac Pike should be near bays that hold the day's warmth. One clear peak today: the night. Work fewer spots, but work them properly. Shortening days concentrate the feeding into fewer hours.

Set in Outaouais, Quebec, this is Lac Pike. It sits in pine and birch country. At roughly 7 hectares, the whole thing is within casting reach of a single walk. It is low-lying compared with other Quebec water we list. Wakefield is the closest place, 4.1 km off. Cantley follows at 15 km, then Val-des-Monts at 17 km. It sits well inside the county, so one set of rules covers it.
No chart reached our records; the first cast is your sounding. Read the surface for the wind lane, then fish the edge of it. Bays and points beat straight shoreline every time on water like this. Reported across Outaouais: pumpkinseed, yellow perch, smallmouth bass and rainbow smelt. Read it as a county summary, not a water-by-water list. On Lac Pike the obvious spot is not always the productive one.
On the long-term average, July reads 19°C and January reads -13°C. Winter shuts the surface down for months. Look for the thaw near late April; the fishing lifts straight after. From about late April to around early December, expect open water on the long-run figures. The strongest runs come at either end of the open season. That shapes the year on Lac Pike.
No public source sets out the position on this bank. No made access appears within a short radius, so plan to park on a verge and walk. A small crankbait along the drop and a worm in the thick stuff cover the bass. Parking space is the usual limit rather than the bank itself. Where parking is tight, arriving early solves most problems. Petit lac du Barrage, 1.6 km away, makes the obvious fallback. Confirm before you fish Lac Pike.
