Flat light and a covered sky today, with a kind SSW breeze on the water and steady pressure. Whatever swims in Lac Perce should be near the seam between weed and open water. A tough forecast; the middle of the day offers the only real chance. Keep baits small and presentations quiet. Cooler water spreads fish back across the shallows.

Lac Perce lies in Outaouais, in Quebec. The surroundings are pine and birch. Saint-Boniface sits 68 km from here and is the nearest stop. Ferme-Neuve lies 71 km off, Mont-Laurier another 80 km. Also within reach: Lac Sablier near enough 0.4 km, Lac des Champignons 1.4 km away, Lac de la Moelle near enough 1.8 km, Lac Amador 1.9 km away and Lac Luchat near enough 2 km. One jurisdiction covers this water end to end.
Without a survey to go on, judge depth from how the bank falls away. The productive water is a rod length or two out, not a hundred. A soft bed grows weed late into autumn, which keeps fish shallow. Across Outaouais, recorded fish include pumpkinseed, yellow perch and smallmouth bass. Read it as a county summary, not a water-by-water list. Fish Lac Perce where the bottom changes rather than where it looks deep.
Expect July near 17°C and January near -17°C on the long-run figures. Winter shuts things down for a spell, then spring reopens them fast. After late April the shallows warm and the fish move up. Climate figures give an open season running late April to late November. May into June fishes hardest, and September gives a second good stretch before the lid returns. On Lac Perce the same rules apply, with local timing.
Whether you may fish here is not something records settle. Mapping records no facilities at all near this water. A small crankbait along the drop and a worm in the thick stuff cover the bass. Sort the permit out before you load the car. Rules for boats are stricter than rules for the bank in many places. Failing this one, try Lac Sablier, 0.4 km away. None of that is settled for Lac Perce in what we hold.
