Bright moon and an empty sky tonight, with a gentle ripple from the SW with the glass holding level. Most of the action on Lac Pazanan should come off shallow cover and weed edges. A grinding day likely, with the morning worth the effort if any is. Quiet tactics only; the fish will not chase today.

Night
Set in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Lac Pazanan is a Quebec water. What surrounds it is pine and birch. Roughly 35 hectares: a morning covers one end, an afternoon the other. The margin runs to about 5.2 km in total. Val-d'Or at 111 km is the nearest place to stop. Saint-Boniface lies 115 km off, Maniwaki another 126 km. The nearest boundary is well away, so one set of rules covers the water.
There is no recorded depth, so work from what you can see. This is a lake, so the margins and the first drop matter most. A soft bed grows weed late into autumn, which keeps fish shallow. Across Abitibi-Témiscamingue, recorded fish include northern pike, yellow perch and walleye. Records at this level tell you what is in the area. The shape of Lac Pazanan decides where the fish sit.
Climate normals give 17°C for July and -16°C for January. Fishing here follows the temperature more than the calendar. Ice-out usually falls in early May, and the weeks after it fish hardest. Ice clears near early May and comes back about late November in a typical year. The middle of summer slows a little, with dawn and dusk carrying it. That is the shape of the year on Lac Pazanan.
Who may fish here is not settled in anything we hold. Records list it as a natural water body rather than an impoundment. Mapping shows no built access close by; expect to walk in from wherever you can leave the car. A wire trace and a big bright lure handle the pike; deep water asks for a heavier spoon. Ask in the nearest town if you are unsure. Close seasons apply to some species and not others. Lac Curfox, 0.9 km away, makes the obvious fallback. Nothing on Lac Pazanan should be assumed from this page alone.
