A closed sky with even light today, with a faint SSW drift and no real change in pressure. The productive water at Lac Manille will be around the weed line and any gaps in it. A stay-home graph, with the middle of the day as the one excuse to go. Downsize everything and pick the calmest water.

Quebec holds Lac Manille, in Abitibi-Témiscamingue. It lies 422 metres above sea level. It measures about 21 hectares, which is a comfortable size for bank fishing. With about 2.6 km of edge, you can try several depths in one session. You are 117 km from Ferme-Neuve. Further out sit Manawan (123 km) and Leblanc (128 km). No boundary runs near, so the local rules hold throughout.
We hold no depth figure for this one. A soft bed grows weed late into autumn, which keeps fish shallow. Look for the band where the shallows give up and the bottom falls away. Across Abitibi-Témiscamingue, recorded fish include northern pike, yellow perch, walleye, white sucker and brown bullhead. Take it as the county picture rather than a promise for this water. At Lac Manille the first feature you find is worth twenty minutes.
Long-term averages put July at about 16°C and January near -18°C. Ice holds for a long stretch, so the open weeks matter more here than further south. The freeze runs deep into the year, with break-up near early May. Expect the water usable from around early May until roughly mid November. Look to early summer and the first cool weeks of autumn. At Lac Manille the season follows that pattern closely.
Who may fish here is not settled in anything we hold. No dam controls it, and the level follows the season. No made access appears within a short radius, so plan to park on a verge and walk. Pike mean a wire trace, no exceptions; big spoons and jerkbaits do the searching. Read any posted signs at the access point rather than assuming. Night access is frequently treated as a separate matter. For a change of water, Lac Gilbeys is 1.4 km distant. Rules at Lac Manille are worth checking on the day.
