Steady rain over the water today, with light air out of the SSW with the glass holding level. Give the first drop-off and weed lines the first hour at Lac Lynch. The day peaks in the night. Work fewer spots, but work them properly. The autumn feed-up is on; baitfish areas are the key.

Quebec holds Lac Lynch, in Laurentides. Height above sea level is 264 metres. About 1.83 sq km, so local knowledge or a boat saves a lot of walking. Around 10 km of bank, which is a long day on foot. It ranks high for size among our Laurentides listings. You are 15 km from Rivière-Rouge. Labelle follows at 26 km, then La Minerve at 33 km. Rules here are straightforward: one set of provincial rules.
We hold no survey for this water; read the slope of the shoreline instead. A natural lake fishes on cover, and cover here means weed and timber. The productive water is a rod length or two out, not a hundred. Open biodiversity records for Laurentides list pumpkinseed, smallmouth bass, yellow perch, brook trout and rock bass. Take it as the county picture rather than a promise for this water. Read Lac Lynch for ten minutes before the first cast goes out.
The year swings from about -15°C in January to roughly 18°C in July. Expect a real winter and a strong spring after it. Ice fishing carries the winter, and the water opens about late April. Averages place the thaw at late April and the freeze at late November. The strongest runs come at either end of the open season. Lac Lynch fishes to that pattern most years.
Public sources are silent on who controls the bank. It formed naturally, so levels move with rainfall rather than with a gate. There is no recorded infrastructure here; expect to find your own way in. A small crankbait along the drop and a worm in the thick stuff cover the bass. Some banks are open only from a marked point. Fishing rules and camping rules are set separately here. For a change of water, Lac Navaron is 1.8 km distant. Nothing here settles the position at Lac Lynch for certain.
