Rain colouring the margins today, with a kind SSW breeze on the water and steady pressure. Fish at Lac Legendre should hold close to inflow corners and shaded margins. If you must go, go in the middle of the day. Keep baits small and presentations quiet. Cooling water has fish active and on the move.

Within Côte-Nord, Quebec, you have Lac Legendre. What surrounds it is boreal forest. It measures about 10 hectares, which is a comfortable size for bank fishing. The edge runs 2.0 km or so, easy to work in an afternoon. Nearest town is Sept-Îles, 28 km off. After that come Maliotenam at 36 km and Port-Cartier at 49 km. The county line is nowhere near, so one local authority covers the water.
Depth is unknown to us, and the shoreline is the better guide. This is a lake, so the margins and the first drop matter most. A natural lake fishes on cover, and cover here means weed and timber. County-wide records name logperch. Those are county-wide records, so not every one of them will be in this water. Anyone new to Lac Legendre should walk it once before setting up.
In an average year July sits at 15°C and January at -17°C. Winter runs most of the calendar, and everything worth doing happens in the gap. Hard cover is dependable here; it goes around mid May. Going by climate averages, expect open water from about mid May until roughly mid November. The first weeks of open water and the last are the ones to plan for. That shapes the year on Lac Legendre.
Our records carry no access rule either way. This is a natural basin, not a dammed one. There is no mapped parking or launch nearby, which keeps numbers down. For the perch, a small jig tipped with worm, dropped along the edges, is hard to beat. Check locally before you travel, because a wasted drive is a long one. Barbless rules turn up on managed water more often than not. Lac de Tete at 2.7 km is the sensible second choice. Treat Lac Legendre as unsettled until someone local tells you otherwise.
