Steady rain over the water today, with mild air moving in from the SSW and steady pressure. The productive water at Lac Leblanc will be around the shallows early and the drop later. One clear peak today: the morning. Fish confidently and change only when the bites stop. Cooler water spreads fish back across the shallows.

Out in Laurentides, Quebec, sits Lac Leblanc. Beyond the shoreline you have mixed forest. The water measures roughly 2 hectares, so nothing here is far from anything else. Our Laurentides list holds plenty of bigger water. Saint-Adolphe-d'Howard lies 8.6 km from the water. The nearest city of size is Saint-Louis-de-Terrebonne, 57 km away. The nearest boundary is a fair way off.
Depth figures are not published for this one. Read the surface for the wind lane, then fish the edge of it. Bays and points beat straight shoreline every time on water like this. County-wide records name pumpkinseed, smallmouth bass, yellow perch, brook trout and rock bass. Records at county level tell you what is around, not what is stocked here. At Lac Leblanc light and wind decide more than tackle does.
Between January at about -14°C and July at about 18°C, the water has a wide range to work through. Hard water is a season in its own right here. Winter locks it down, and late April brings it back. Break-up near late April, freeze-up near late November: that is the shape of an average year. Just after the ice goes and just before it returns, the fishing lifts. The season on Lac Leblanc follows the weather closely.
Whether the bank is open is not something our records settle. Mapping is blank for access, so scout the approach before committing the car. For the bass here, soft plastics worked slow along cover and a spinnerbait for searching do most of the work. Check locally before you travel, because a wasted drive is a long one. Some ground is open by custom rather than by right, so tread carefully. Should this one be busy, Lac Lajeunesse is 0.4 km off. None of that is settled for Lac Leblanc in what we hold.
