Passing showers with dry spells between, with light air out of the SSW and pressure going nowhere. Whatever swims in Lac Haroue should be near inflow corners and shaded margins. A slow day overall; the morning is the best of a quiet lot. Go lighter and slower than usual. Cooler water spreads fish back across the shallows.

The Abitibi-Témiscamingue entry here is Lac Haroue, in Quebec. The country here is taiga. It measures about 21 hectares, which is a comfortable size for bank fishing. The whole outline is near 3.4 km, and most of it is walkable. The closest town, Ferme-Neuve, is 119 km distant. Gatineau sits 249 km out, and it is the nearest city worth the name. This one is safely inside the county line.
Depth is unknown to us, and the shoreline is the better guide. Where the bottom changes texture, fish gather; find that line. Still water like this holds fish on the edges rather than out in the open. Records held for Abitibi-Témiscamingue cover northern pike, yellow perch and walleye. County data is a starting point rather than a guarantee. Take Lac Haroue a stretch at a time.
Typical July readings run about 17°C; by January the average is down near -18°C. The season is measured in weeks rather than months. Firm cover through the cold months, then open water from early May. Expect the water usable from around early May until roughly mid November. The first weeks of open water and the last are the ones to plan for. Plan around that when you fish Lac Haroue.
The access position is unclear from public sources. No dam controls it, and the level follows the season. There is no recorded infrastructure here; expect to find your own way in. Pike mean a wire trace, no exceptions; big spoons and jerkbaits do the searching. Parking is often the real limit rather than the bank itself. Access can change hands, so last year's answer may not hold. The nearest alternative is Lac Comyn, 1 km out. None of that is settled for Lac Haroue in what we hold.
