Cloud from horizon to horizon today, with a helpful ripple pushed from the S and the barometer holding steady. Start the search at Lac Glynn along points where shallow meets deep. Numbers are low everywhere; the night is the pick of them. Scale down and fish slowly. Shortening days concentrate the feeding into fewer hours.

In Quebec, Lac Glynn belongs to Outaouais. Height above sea level is 251 metres. At about 13 hectares, a day is enough to walk the shoreline properly. Shoreline comes to about 2.3 km, small enough to learn in a day. The closest town, Shawville, is 19 km away. It is 47 km to Gatineau, the nearest city. It lies deep inside the county rather than near an edge.
There is no recorded depth, so work from what you can see. Where the bottom changes texture, fish gather; find that line. A soft bed grows weed late into autumn, which keeps fish shallow. Across Outaouais, recorded fish include pumpkinseed, yellow perch and smallmouth bass. Species recorded across the county may be limited to a few waters. On Lac Glynn the obvious spot is not always the productive one.
Averages move between -12°C in January and 19°C in July. Winter closes the water for a while, and the reopening is worth catching. Look for the thaw near late April; the fishing lifts straight after. Break-up sits around late April on average, with the water closing again about early December. The strongest runs come at either end of the open season. Lac Glynn runs to that rhythm year in and year out.
Public data does not answer the access question here. No dam controls it, and the level follows the season. We find no slipway, car park or made path within a short radius, so treat access as rough. Bass water: a Texas-rigged worm near cover, a spinnerbait when you need to cover ground. Look for a notice board at the entrance. Fishing rules and camping rules are set separately here. For a change of water, Lac Kelly is 1.7 km distant. What applies at Lac Glynn may have changed since it was mapped.
