Heavy overcast holding through the day, with a whisper of wind from the SSW and no real change in pressure. The productive water at Lac Gallia will be around inflow corners and shaded margins. If you must go, go in the night. One good spot fished well beats five fished quickly. Falling temperatures are switching fish back on.

Lac Gallia sits in Outaouais, out in Quebec. It lies 319 metres above sea level. Roughly 26 hectares: a morning covers one end, an afternoon the other. You are 57 km from Saint-Boniface. Further out sit Maniwaki (64 km) and Saint-Raphaël (70 km). Within a short run: Lac Pelletier within 1.2 km, Lac Druide the better part of 1.4 km, Lac Gibeon within 2 km, Lac Cassel the better part of 2.5 km and Lac Hobson within 3 km. No border sits close enough to matter.
We hold no depth figure for this one. This is a lake, so the margins and the first drop matter most. Read the surface for the wind lane, then fish the edge of it. Records held for Outaouais cover pumpkinseed, yellow perch, smallmouth bass, rainbow smelt and Iowa darter. Those are county-wide records, so not every one of them will be in this water. Work Lac Gallia in sections rather than trying to cover it.
Long-term averages put July at about 18°C and January near -16°C. Hard water is a season in its own right here. Winter fishing happens on the ice here, with open water back around late April. Going by climate averages, expect open water from about late April until roughly late November. May into June fishes hardest, and September gives a second good stretch before the lid returns. At Lac Gallia the season follows that pattern closely.
Public sources are silent on who controls the bank. The map shows no ramp or car park nearby, so this is a walk-in water. Largemouth respond to soft plastics tight to cover; go weedless where the growth is heavy. Where the road in crosses private land, ask first. Barbless rules turn up on managed water more often than not. The nearest alternative is Lac Pelletier, 1.2 km out. Nothing here settles the position at Lac Gallia for certain.
