Heavy overcast holding through the day, with enough SSW wind to stack food downwind with the barometer flat. Fish at Lac Final should hold close to sheltered bays and points. Save your energy for the night. Change depth before you change anything else. Autumn fish are feeding up and less fussy than in summer.

Lac Final lies in Outaouais, in Quebec. Land around it is mixed forest. At 4 hectares it is the sort of place you fish for an evening rather than a day. Our Outaouais list holds plenty of bigger water. The nearest place of any size is Val-des-Monts, 30 km away. The nearest city of size is Orléans, 49 km away. Rules here are straightforward: one set of provincial rules.
We hold no survey for this water; read the slope of the shoreline instead. This is a lake, so the margins and the first drop matter most. Bays and points beat straight shoreline every time on water like this. Reported across Outaouais: pumpkinseed, yellow perch, smallmouth bass, rainbow smelt and Iowa darter. Those are county-wide records, so not every one of them will be in this water. Anyone new to Lac Final should walk it once before setting up.
Between January at about -13°C and July at about 18°C, the water has a wide range to work through. A full turn of seasons, with the strongest sport on either side of summer. Ice is part of the season here, ending near late April. The water is typically free of ice between late April and early December. Reckon on open water from spring through to late autumn, with May and June the strongest. On Lac Final the same rules apply, with local timing.
Public data does not answer the access question here. No made access appears within a short radius, so plan to park on a verge and walk. For the bass here, soft plastics worked slow along cover and a spinnerbait for searching do most of the work. A landowner's word beats anything printed elsewhere. Rules for boats are stricter than rules for the bank in many places. Should this one be busy, Lac du Rouge-Gorge is 1.3 km off. What applies at Lac Final may have changed since it was mapped.
