Damp, showery conditions today, with a gentle ripple from the SSW and steady pressure. The water to cover at Lac Enfle is the weed line and any gaps in it. If you must go, go in the night. One good spot fished well beats five fished quickly. Fish follow the bait in autumn, so find one to find the other.

Out in Côte-Nord, Quebec, sits Lac Enfle. It sits at 140 metres above sea level. By elevation it sits in the lower part of our Quebec listings. Nearest place of any size is Saint-Alexandre, 16 km away. Port-Cartier is 16 km and Sept-Îles 55 km. What else is close: 1.2 km away is Lac Oblong, Lac de la Varappe just 1.2 km, 4 km away is Lac des Graces, Lac Dagneau just 5.9 km and 7 km away is Lac Zezette. There is no boundary nearby to worry about.
Depth is unknown to us, and the shoreline is the better guide. A natural lake fishes on cover, and cover here means weed and timber. The shallow end warms first and pulls fish in ahead of the rest. Fish documented in Côte-Nord include logperch. Take it as the county picture rather than a promise for this water. Lac Enfle gives up its fish to patience rather than distance.
On the long-term average, July reads 16°C and January reads -15°C. Everything is compressed into the middle of the year. The lid usually goes in early May, which opens the strongest weeks of the year. Ice clears near early May and comes back about mid November in a typical year. Late spring and early autumn carry the year between them. On Lac Enfle the same rules apply, with local timing.
Whether the bank is open is not something our records settle. No launch point is recorded nearby, so this is a bank water unless you carry a boat in. For the perch, a small jig tipped with worm, dropped along the edges, is hard to beat. Ask in the nearest town if you are unsure. A polite question at the farm gate opens more banks than anything else. The nearest alternative is Lac Oblong, 1.2 km out. What applies at Lac Enfle may have changed since it was mapped.
