Heavy overcast holding through the day, with a stiffish breeze from the S with a settled glass. Whatever swims in Lac du Replat should be near reed fringes and open pockets. One clear peak today: the night. Work fewer spots, but work them properly. Shortening days concentrate the feeding into fewer hours.

Quebec holds Lac du Replat, in Mauricie. The land about it is rolling bush. At 4 hectares it is the sort of place you fish for an evening rather than a day. On size it sits at the modest end of our Mauricie list. La Tuque sits 45 km from the bank. Saguenay is the closest city, 133 km away. Near neighbours: Lac Chicanier about 0.9 km, Lac a la Truite within 1.2 km, Lac Creux about 1.5 km, Lac de la Carapace within 1.9 km and Lac a Shaw about 2.2 km. No border sits close enough to matter.
Depth is unmeasured here, so let the shoreline guide you. On a natural lake the weed line and the shelf beyond it do the work. The productive water is a rod length or two out, not a hundred. Mauricie records list northern pike, brook trout and walleye among the fish reported. County records show the wider picture rather than this one place. Lac du Replat gives up more to patience than to distance.
Between January at about -16°C and July at about 17°C, the water has a wide range to work through. The year splits cleanly: hard water, then open water. Ice fishing carries the winter, and the water opens about late April. The lid tends to go about late April and return around mid November. The shoulder weeks of the open season are the productive ones. Plan around that when you fish Lac du Replat.
Our records carry no access rule either way. We find no slipway, car park or made path within a short radius, so treat access as rough. A small crankbait along the drop and a worm in the thick stuff cover the bass. Bank access can be seasonal on ground like this. Some water is controlled locally without a sign saying so. Lac Chicanier, 0.9 km away, makes the obvious fallback. Where Lac du Replat is concerned, a local answer beats a written one.
