A grey, even sky over the water, with a whisper of wind from the SSW and no real change in pressure. Lac Delvis should fish best around points where shallow meets deep today. A stay-home graph, with the night as the one excuse to go. Save the long walk for a better forecast. Autumn fish are feeding up and less fussy than in summer.

Lac Delvis lies in Côte-Nord, in Quebec. Height above sea level is 630 metres. About 7 hectares of surface, which puts the far bank inside easy sight. It is high ground by Quebec standards. Port-Cartier is the closest place, 102 km off. Saguenay sits 375 km out, and it is the nearest city worth the name. Not far off: Lac Claudel 1 km away, Lac Kangourou at 1.1 km, Lac Drott 1.7 km away, Lac Tibasse at 1.9 km and Lac Gueraille 1.9 km away. There is no boundary nearby to worry about.
Depth went unrecorded, which puts the reading back on you. Where the bottom changes texture, fish gather; find that line. This is a lake, so the margins and the first drop matter most. Across Côte-Nord, recorded fish include logperch. The county figures include rivers and lakes alike. On Lac Delvis that means starting tight and working out.
Between January at about -20°C and July at about 14°C, the water has a wide range to work through. The freeze holds for the better part of the year. The lid arrives early and lasts until roughly mid May. Break-up sits around mid May on average, with the water closing again about early November. Spring is short and heavy here; autumn is longer and steadier. At Lac Delvis the season follows that pattern closely.
We hold no note on access for this one. Nothing is listed nearby for parking or launching a boat. Perch take small lures and worms fished near the bottom close to structure. Parking space is the usual limit rather than the bank itself. Barbless rules turn up on managed water more often than not. Lac Claudel at 1 km is the sensible second choice. For Lac Delvis in particular, ask before you travel.
