A wet system passing over today, with a useful SSW wind pushing food about and pressure going nowhere. Activity on Lac de l'Aigle should centre on the weed line and any gaps in it. Little to get excited about, though the middle of the day holds a sliver of promise. Downsize everything and pick the calmest water.

Night
Set in Lanaudière, Lac de l'Aigle is a Quebec water. The bank is 567 metres above sea level. At 3 hectares it is the sort of place you fish for an evening rather than a day. On size it sits at the modest end of our Lanaudière list. Start from Manawan, 23 km down the road. Saint-Michel-des-Saints lies 47 km off, Saint-Donat-de-Montcalm another 79 km. It lies deep inside the county rather than near an edge.
The records we hold are silent on depth, so plan to find it yourself. Read the surface for the wind lane, then fish the edge of it. The productive water is a rod length or two out, not a hundred. Across Lanaudière, recorded fish include pumpkinseed, smallmouth bass and yellow perch. County data is a starting point rather than a guarantee. The near bank of Lac de l'Aigle is often the one people ignore.
Expect July to average close to 17°C, with January the cold end at about -16°C. Winter runs most of the calendar, and everything worth doing happens in the gap. The lid arrives early and lasts until roughly early May. Average temperatures cross freezing around early May in spring and again near mid November in autumn. Fishing peaks soon after break-up and again before the cold returns. At Lac de l'Aigle the season follows that pattern closely.
Nothing we hold confirms whether access is permitted. Formal access is not mapped, so the last stretch is likely on foot. Bass water: a Texas-rigged worm near cover, a spinnerbait when you need to cover ground. Gates get locked out of season on water like this. Barbless rules turn up on managed water more often than not. Should this one be busy, Lac Turc is 1.3 km off. Nothing here settles the position at Lac de l'Aigle for certain.
