Cloud from horizon to horizon today, with a firm SSW blow and pressure going nowhere. Lac de l'Acacia should fish best around bays that hold the day's warmth today. Save your energy for the night. Change depth before you change anything else. Shortening days concentrate the feeding into fewer hours.

The Lanaudière end of Quebec holds Lac de l'Acacia. The bank is 459 metres above sea level. Roughly 29 hectares: a morning covers one end, an afternoon the other. The bank runs about 4.0 km all the way round, so one visit can cover most of it. Manawan is the closest place, 28 km off. Saint-Michel-des-Saints is 58 km and Rivière-Rouge 69 km. One jurisdiction covers this water end to end.
There is no published depth for this one, so start shallow and work out. On a natural lake the weed line and the shelf beyond it do the work. This is a lake, so the margins and the first drop matter most. Public occurrence data for Lanaudière names pumpkinseed, smallmouth bass and yellow perch. It is the county picture; the agency list is water-specific. Lac de l'Acacia gives up its fish to patience rather than distance.
Climate normals give 17°C for July and -16°C for January. The window is narrow, and fish feed hard while it lasts. After early May the shallows warm and the fish move up. The lid tends to go about early May and return around mid November. The strong weeks are the first after break-up and the last before the freeze. Keep it in mind when planning a trip to Lac de l'Acacia.
No access rule appears in what we hold. Records list it as a natural water body rather than an impoundment. No made access appears within a short radius, so plan to park on a verge and walk. Bass water: a Texas-rigged worm near cover, a spinnerbait when you need to cover ground. Rules for this water may differ from the county norm. Fishing rules and camping rules are set separately here. Lac Ventura at 0.8 km is the sensible second choice. For Lac de l'Acacia in particular, ask before you travel.
